How do we make it?

Well, on day 1 we mix raw materials such as horse manure, hay, leaves, vegetable waste, and more to get our starting carbon to nitrogen ratio at about 25:1. Our team then puts this mixture into windrows and adds thousands of gallons of water as to where our moisture content is about 60%…..

Then we blend the materials with our compost turner. For the next 14 weeks we will check 3 times a week for Temp, Co2, and Moisture content. We must maintain correct temperatures to kill off harmful bacteria, and weed seeds.

Around week 22-24 we screen our finished product, and it’s ready for use!
